Privacy policy

Short version

  • No account, no name, no email. We don't know who you are.
  • A random ID in a cookie lets us save your exercise progress.
  • No ads, nothing is sold. Google Analytics runs only if you allow it.
  • You can delete everything with one button, below.

Who is responsible

We process data under Law no. 195/2024 on personal data protection of the Republic of Moldova and, for visitors from the European Union, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The legal bases below are the same under both.

We do not collect your name, email, location or anything you didn't type into an exercise. Please don't put personal data in your code.

Cookies

vid, NEXT_LOCALE and analytics_consent are strictly necessary for features you use yourself. The Google Analytics cookies are set only after you click "Allow" in the banner; you can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. Vercel's statistics are collected without cookies.

Where the data is stored

  • Neon — the Postgres database with your progress, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
  • Vercel — hosting, server logs, Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel Analytics works without cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — only with your consent, with IP anonymization.

These providers process data only on our behalf, under data processing agreements. Data is transferred outside the Republic of Moldova: to the EU (Neon, Google Ireland) and, through Vercel and Google, possibly to the USA — protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Progress is kept until you delete it with the button on this page or ask us by email. Database backups keep a copy for a few more hours. Server logs and statistics are kept according to Vercel's retention periods.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Since we don't know who you are, the quickest way is the button below. For anything else, write to contact.boostme.pro@gmail.com and we'll answer within one month.

You can also complain to the data protection authority: in the Republic of Moldova, the National Centre for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md); if you live in the EU, the authority in your country (in Romania, ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro).

Delete my progress

Removes your saved code, solved exercises, reactions and feedback messages from our database and clears the progress cookie on this device. This cannot be undone.

Ads in the future

The site has no ads now. If we add them, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before any advertising cookie is set.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes we'll show a notice on the site.
